My areas of speciality are Art and Art History, as well as English and English language composition. Being a creative person and a creative learner makes me an excellent tutor, because I can approach understanding from many different vantage points. My artistic education at RISD provided me with a sense of how to combine rigor and fun. I am extremely experienced tutoring younger children but have had an equally wonderful time working with high-school students. Hobbies of mine include painting, drawing, writing, and playing music.
