I am a citizen of Mainland China and a US Permanent Resident. I was born and raised in Jiangxi Province in Southern China, but also spent many years in Shanghai and Shenzhen. I am fluent in English and have been married to an American for a few years, and we live here in Providence, RI, near Brown University. I received my teaching certification from the Chinese government and taught middle school students for three years. I also provided Chinese language tutoring to adult foreigners living in China for 2+ years, and my lessons were delivered in English. I would love to work with kids and adults who are interested in both learning Chinese and finding out about more about life or business in China, where I lived for the first 27 years of my life. My preferred students are those who are hard-working and serious but who also like to have a good time while learning. As for myself, I am a well organized, reliable, and dedicated to your improvement. My lesson plans can be designed to fit your needs, whether you are a student or a business man or woman.
