ExperienceI'm a semi-retired college professor (physics, mathematics, computer science); I recently completed a 12+ year stint (September 2002 - December 2014) tutoring math and physics at Holyoke Community College (Holyoke MA), where I tutored a variety of math courses (from Basic Math to Calculus 3, plus Probability & Statistics; also, General Physics; I want to be a tutor because I'm very good at it, love to help students become independent learners, and love most particularly math and physics; I'm very patient, and very experienced in bringing out the very best in the students I tutor. Currently (since April 2015) I've been working as a Professional Tutor (math/physics; 24 hours per week during the regular school year; 10 - 12 hours per week during Summer Session) at Bristol Community College (Fall River, MA), where (as at Holyoke Community College) I tutor a range of subjects, from Pre-Algebra to Calculus 1, 2, 3; Differential Equations, Probability & Statistics, General Physics 1 & 2.
