I am a tutor with extensive experience working with students of diverse backgrounds. I have experience working with both children and adults. My experience includes tutoring local students, refugees, and immigrants. While my passion lies in teaching classic literature, English literature, ecology, and evolutionary biology, I have the skill set to tutor in a variety of subjects, including algebra, anatomy, biology, physiology, ESL, Latin, reading, writing, grammar, pre-algebra, ecology, math, evolutionary biology, science, SAT writing, test prep, English, and American literature. I specialize in adapting my teaching methods to the students' learning styles to ensure that the material is interesting, relevant, and approachable, even when working with difficult material. It is important to me that all of the students I work with learn how to engage in the material and how to enjoy the learning process. My academic journey led me to graduating from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in classics and evolutionary biology. I currently live in Providence, Rhode Island. During my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, playing music, and making art.
