Experience
I am an experienced tutor who teaches a variety of subjects, but my specialty is helping students prepare for the LSAT test. My favorite LAST sections to teach are Logical Reasoning and Writing. I studied Political Science during my undergraduate studies, and I am now a law student in my third year at Washington University. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored students in a variety of subjects, including government, law, and physical science. The students I tutored were all very different, and each had different learning styles and challenges in their academics that helped me hone my tutoring skills. When I tutor, I first work with a student to establish goals. I then determine a student's learning style and adapt my teaching style to accommodate their specific needs. I like to make difficult subjects enjoyable to learn, so I try to add a little fun into my lessons. My goal when tutoring every student is to help them progress from frustrated, uncertain students into students with great confidence in their studies and deep understanding of the concepts of a subject. When not studying or tutoring, I love to play sports, including tennis, basketball, baseball, and disc golf. I also enjoy playing play strategy games, including chess.
