HobbiesFirstly, I enjoy teaching. I believe the two most essential ingredients for teaching are patience and empathy. The first because a student's knowledge gaps, learning style, and pace must be understood and accommodated. The second because a student needs the additional motivation of someone believing in their capabilities.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy singing (too much according to my housemates), and have been writing my own music since I was fourteen. I also try to stay proactive and involved in environmental movements. Most recently, I have discovered contra-dancing, of which I'm growing very fond.
