Experience
I have taught art and design courses, as well as helping students write papers at the collegiate level. I enjoy working in education and would like to teach eventually, so tutoring is good experience. I took a seminar in University level teaching at Concordia University. It taught me different teaching methodologies. I have studied a broad range of subjects and have been published in academic journals. I am a strong writer and have assisted professor's in proof reading texts and grant proposals. I am good with mathematics, although my expertise is more in the arts and humanities. I have extensive knowledge of Western Philosophy and History. I know Art History and Design programs such as photoshop, illustrator, and inDesign. I can teach computer skills. I was on the National Deans List and always maintained a hight GPA.

Hobbies
I play chess competitively and for fun and would enjoy playing chess with my tutees. I am also very interested in poetry and literature, so working with students who wish to write would be of particular interest to me. I know the entire Adobe Creative Suite, along with audio and video editing software, so working with aspiring visual artists and designers would also appeal to me. I create multimedia installations, so my technical knowledge is solid for the creation of digital media artworks. I also know some programming languages, such as CSS and html, and Processing.
