Experience
Once I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, I attended the Rhode Island Teaching Fellows. This is where I worked toward my certificate for teaching so that I could start my life of teaching. The last year, I have been teaching 10th and 11th grade children chemistry and science. While teaching my students, I like to break down content as much as possible so that they can understand what I am teaching them. Even the hardest material can be learned if the teacher takes the time with the students so they can be able to build up their confidence and skill set. Although I spent the last year teaching science and chemistry, I can also teach Algebra 1, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra 2, Organic Chemistry, Arithmetic, Algebra ¾, Biochemistry, Honors Chemistry, Life Science, Biology, and Math. Currently, for my free time, I like to go on long distance runs. When I was in school, I was a sprinter, and I also chose to become a long-distance runner. I really like visiting theme parks, indoor rock climbing, and kayaking when I am not teaching. I am always on the look-out for an interesting book to read as I enjoy reading as well.
